Light Duty Wheel Bearing Cap
Jack the wheel off the ground and check for side-to-side movement — any play means the bearing needs adjusting or replacing. Free-spin the wheel and listen for noise, vibration or rumble. Adjust the bearing to take out side movement, then grease the hub while turning the wheel until grease seeps from the back of the hub past the seal — that tells you the hub is fully packed and the seal is lubricated. Wipe away the excess. These caster and transport wheels get overlooked in favour of the openers, but the machine's no use without them.
